Curated by Adriano Pedrosa, the exhibition takes inspiration from the Turin collective ‘Stranieri Ovunque’, which fought against racism and xenophobia in Italy. The theme ‘Foreigners Everywhere’ signifies the ubiquitous presence of foreigners and the idea that everyone, no matter where they are, carries a sense of foreignness within them.

The exhibition is divided into two sections – Nucleo Contemporaneo and Nucleo Storico, each interpreting the theme in unique ways. The Nucleo Contemporaneo explores the concept of ‘strange’ through various lenses, including the queer artist, outsider artist, and indigenous artist. On the other hand, the Nucleo Storico showcases modernisms from Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, shedding light on lesser-known histories of art.
