Overview
Since its inception in 1988, the EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture, also known as the Mies van der Rohe Award, has been recognizing outstanding architectural works across Europe. Co-organized by the European Commission and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, the award highlights excellence in architecture that encompasses aesthetic appeal, conceptual rigor, sustainability, social impact, cultural significance, and technical innovation.
